Decoration process

Our process involves screen printing each glass by hand and firing them in a temperature controlled lehr oven to cure the decoration for durability. We don’t provide any other service such as etching, decals, or engraving. Our single colour screen printing process has been developed over many years and it is what we do best! We believe printing on to the glass rather than etching into it, is kinder to the glass.

Our Process

Step 1: Seek approval on logo size and position on glass and then create a screen.

Step 2: Set-up glass for printing. Each set-up takes anywhere between 10-20mins depending on the glass and positioning of logo. We take an average across 5 glasses from a batch to then set-up the correct pour guide/positioning.

Step 3: Once set-up the glasses are printed by hand and checked for quality assurance.

Step 4: The glasses are fired in a temperature controlled lehr oven to cure the decoration for durability.

Firing the glass is the final and crucial step of our process and we only fire on Monday and Wednesday each week. This means that anything printed on Thursday and Friday will be ready for dispatch on the following Tuesday. To find out when your glasses will be ready, ask one of our team members.
